High yielder
Tolerant to BW.
Fruits are round and red in colour
Average fruit weight 85-90 gm.
Yield varies 85-90 t/ha.

BARI Tomato-3
This variety was released in the year 1996
Fruits are fleshy, semi-globe and red in colour.
Number of fruits/plant is about 28-30 and average fruit weight is about 85-90 gm.
Yield is 2-2.5 kg/plant and 85-90 t/ha.
Optimum planting time is mid October to mid November.
 
 
BARI Tomato-8
Plum shaped tomatoes with longer shelf life (15-20 days under normal room temperature).
Suitable for transportation due to its compactness and thick, hard skin.
Average fruit weight is about 100-115 gm and yield is about 100-115 t/ha.
Optimum planting time is mid October to mid November.

The variety was released in 1998.

Prolific bearer (80-85 fruits/plant) with longer shelf life of fruits (2-3 weeks).
Suitable for longer transportation for its compactness, thick and hard skin. Fruits are oval, average fruit weight is 75gm.
Yield is about 85-90 t/ha.
Optimum planting time is mid October to mid November. The variety was released in 1998.

First ever heat tolerant tomato hybrid released by BARI in 1998.
Prolific bearer in summer-rainy season under polytunnel without hormone.
Average fruit weight is about 25-30 gm, yield is 45-50 t/ha during summer.

Heat tolerant hybrid tomato variety developed by HRC, BARI was released in 1999.
Fruits are oblong with an average weight of 30 gm.
Yield is about 2-2.5 kg per plant and 45-50 t/ha.
Suitable for summer and rainy season under polytunnel on raised bed without hormone.
Planting time ranges from April to October.
Resistant to bacterial will.

Yield is about 60 t/ha.
